Superwoman!
Mr A gave himself the day off from his 'to do' list and went to North Wales with Laura to visit their brother, so it's been my turn to do a bit of graft!
This morning wasn't so bad, with 4 patients deciding not to bother keeping their appointments, I got an early dart so popped home to make a start on my chores.
In my lunch 'break' (and between gulps of my cup a soup) I managed to get the laundry sorted, tidy stuff away and mow the front lawn.
Then it was off to the second job for the afternoon shift.
All that running about made me hot, so I asked the boss to put the air con on for me. He said no as it 'wasn't even hot' in my surgery. It was!!
By stark contrast, his room was so cold (as he had his aircon on), well....let's just say it's a good job he wears glasses or the twins would have had his eyes out!
I worked pretty much non stop for 4 hours; no fluid in or out & in tropical conditions. It's not good.
Hell closed its doors at 6pm, so it was then home for more chores. This time ironing (no sweat after working the sweatshop this afternoon!), cleaning the house and prepping food for tomorrow's lunch & dinner.
I finally grabbed a bite to eat at 8pm, sorted the dishwasher, watered the pots & put the recycling out for collection tomorrow.
My newest job emailed me documents that needed to be printed off, signed & returned....pages of the stuff! I'm sure that's not necessary. I had said I would get it back to them tomorrow, but there's so much to get through, they may just have to wait.
Even superwoman needs a rest!
