The pretend "Crashed Out"

Today was Father Day in the UK. So, we started the day with CJ waking S2 with a Father's Day present. Then S2 decided that our Father's Day activity would be swimming, so we headed off to try a local pool.

We hadn't been to the facility before so were pleasantly surprised to find it had a toddlers training pool with a great sloped entrance that CJ could run around in, to help gain some confidence around moving in the water without us holding him. Poor little CJ loved it so much, that he kept going even when he was so exhausted!

After swimming we headed out of brunch, where unfortunately CJ's exhaustion got the better of him and he had a little tantrum that ended with S2's coffee being spilt over S2 - not the Father's Day gift he had wanted!

It was then straight home so S2 could have a shower to wash off the coffee - so CJ joined him briefly to wash off the chlorine. Despite being exhausted, getting dry is a perfect time for a game of hide and seek - although he did spend a lot of time hiding in the "crashed out" position! I'm pretty sure if he was having a little cat-nap!
