Linlithgow Marches
I worked from home this morning, planning to go to the office at lunchtime and stay there through the afternoon. But I had clean forgotten that the Linlithgow Marches were on today, and so I ws held up for a considerable time waiting to get my chance to drive on into the office.
The Marches dat from the 16th century. Today they are celebrated by a parade of various local groups, marching from one end of the town to the other. These pipers were from among the second-last group, and they made a great sound as they walked!
