Elsie's little bro

Helen kindly let me borrow her beautiful children for an hour or so to practice on. Little Herbie didn't want to go to sleep. He fed and fed and fed! I ran out of time before getting any decent shots as I had to go and do a lunchtime dog walk. Just got to keep on practising. Think if we'd had another couple of hours at it we'd have got there in the end.

Got home and felt a bit lazy. Mucked about with the kids for a bit. Tobes asked for a BBQ so whilst that was warming up I hacked at the three big lilacs in the garden. They are so lovely when they are in flower but the flowers don't last long and then we're just left with boring trees that just take up too much space in such a small garden. But a big job to get them out. Not a job for today!
