Woodlark

This evening  I went out with a couple of mates in search of see a Nightjar  a bird that is  most active at dawn and dusk when they hunt for moths, beetles and crane flies.
We managed to get great views of on that we 1st heard calling at about 10.00pm we then got great views of it flying around over our heads calling and wing clapping . I would have loved to have got photos of it but they fly around very fast and also it was fairly dark.
While we was stood around waiting for it to get dark I managed to get this shot of a very nice Woodlark. Best viewed LARGE
