The adventure begins..

Just got into Port McNeill to join Mike after "boy's week" that no self respecting woman would ever consider joining, to get stocked up for our epic adventure to sail all the way around Vancouver island. It is a daunting prospect as there are four dangerous capes/peninsulas to sail around with the full force of the Pacific rolling in all the way from Japan. Add to that treacherous rocks all the way and gale force winds to avoid and you wonder what the hell are we doing?! At this point we are debating our decision as our buddy boat can't get up her till next week and we don't have time to wait for them.....what to do?
