Good Innings

Here are Alf and Joe coming in after open the batting against Foxton last night. They did a grand job getting 13 runs including a few quite cheeky ones. Good calling and communication from the pair of them as well.

Back into the office and I managed to completely mistime my journeys so spent nearly 2 hours commuting (it is 11 miles each way). Good day in the office though with some positive progress on a few things.

Then home and straight out to cricket, then home and straight out to band practise.

We had a proper sound engineer over this evening which means that on Saturday we should be able to get a decent mix it did mean it took a while to get things going last night. In the end though it went pretty well apart from the fact that I seem to have forgotten how to play most of the songs! I'd better get some practise in.
