Shieldbug

Spotted this young Shieldbug hiding on a Snapdragon leaf today. It was only about 2mm long and sat perfectly still whilst I took it's portrait.

This was my second attempt at doing some macro photography, this time only using the 36mm tube. Very pleased considering I was hand holding the camera and up against a bit of a breeze and my usual camera shake...
