Southern Discomfort

I took a detour on the way home from the dry cleaner to take a photo, but I only got as far as the back alley before I gave up and sought refuge in the air conditioning at home. It was 37C, and felt like about 45C--not a breath of air, high humidity, scorching sun. DC doesn't always look and feel like Mississippi, but today it made its true southern colours known.
