Lonely Fishermen
The recent rains have turned the once brown foliage to a vibrant green, but the increasing humidity has driven away most visitors leaving lovely views like this to those of us who live here full time. The departure of the tourists mean only us locals buy the fresh caught fish, so there are far fewer fishermen venturing into the bay. This morning there was but a single boat in the water and more than once I have ridden by the fish market on Playa Principal to see only a couple of fishermen displaying their catch. Things will pick up again come November. In the meantime, we will enjoy this quiet interlude.
