Something's amiss

I go away to work and return to find not only have they hidden the rest of the tree, but massacred my bush!

I have a beautiful hydrangea out front and for reasons known only to them, the council have hacked, yes HACKED chunks out of my bush, growing on my property, that I personally trimmed back from the edge so it didn't overhang the boundary to prevent them doing just that when removing the tree. To say im angry would be an understatement!

Now I have to go and cut it back even further to remove the damaged limbs so infection doesn't get in!!!
