I have two Redheaded woodpeckers that come eat from my feeder several times a day and have had for several years now. This is the first time I have managed a photo of one of them in the upright position from a side view. The feeder is just not conducive to the woodpecker sitting like this!

With the temperatures in the 90s and heat index in the 100s, I am staying inside as much as possible and this heatwave is to last the week, with summer only starting this weekend!
