Double Shot Mummy

Last day with mum

Mum and I on an Abra, making our way back after a delicious meal at Pai Thai.

I cannot believe how fast the time has gone. Mum came over to help with the trio and then look after me (You know, in case I was brain damaged). Because I recovered so quickly, we actually got to do lot's of fun things together! I am sure going to miss her tomorrow when she makes the massive flight back to NZ.

Oscar packed his Gruffalo Trunki today. He wants to go to NZ with granny. He packed three pairs of pants. a hooded sweater he remembers from a NZ trip, his 'big boy' pull up pants, donkey toy, toothbrush and quite a few shirts... he did very well. He said he is so excited to be going to NZ and, "I promise mummy, I will come back...." He was so adamant he was going with granny.... we felt very sad and sorry for him. We made up a story that there were no tickets left but he then said he would fly on "The Australian Airline". He then found a bit of Nanny and Pops lego and said that Granny and Grandad could take him to their house to return it...Oscar is far smarter than his mother....

Bailee on the other hand, didn't want to go, "For 12 weeks". After that time, she would go, "Only with Oscar".

This morning Stu, Granny and I went to their graduation ceremony. They have done four terms of FS1 now and are set for big school in September. They sang, "Wind the Bobbin Up", "The ABC Song" and "It's Graduation Time". So cute. The teacher asked them what they wanted to be when they grew up. Oscar said a pilot and Bailee said a princess (Of course!)

So it is going to be strange without my mum tomorrow. I feel very sad but she really needs to get back for my dad. He has wrecked his shoulder and is in a bit of a state with it :-( Stu is going to drop her off at the airport (I am not allowed to drive by law for six months).
