San Francisco
I had a very enjoyable afternoon today, walking around San Francisco, enjoying the blue sky, warm weather and some of the iconic Bay-area architecture.
This is not to be taken for granted - San Francisco can be quite cold and foggy this time of year, much to the surprise of many tourists. There is a famous quote, often (mistakenly) attributed to Mark Twain, that says, "The coldest winter I ever saw was the summer I spent in San Francisco."
Sales of sweatshirts and jackets peak in the summer months in San Francisco.
