Thunderstorm!

A lovely day today until just after 5pm when you could see the black clouds approaching. Peter had driven through some torrential rain on the way home so we know what to expect but it just got darker and darker with rumbles of thunder and flashed of lightning until eventually the skies opened. The rain was bouncing a couple of inches off the pavements and our street being on a slight hill had a river running down the road.

About an hour later the skies had cleared and there was occasional patches of blue sky again. Scottish weather!
