Old and New

Yet another hot and sunny day. At least I finished early – but I was so hot after my walk to and from school that I didn’t want to be out in the sun and neither did BB. Had to do a supermarket shop and was amazed at how cool it was and how quiet. I expect everyone was out enjoying the sunshine.

Had an interesting training course this morning and saw a few panels of the Scottish Diaspora Tapestry which were displayed in the building. I must go and see it properly when it is on display in Edinburgh.

Here are BB’s new astro boots. He’s very pleased with them. He got them at the weekend and has been looking for every opportunity to wear them as he hasn’t had the chance to play football in them yet. The supermarket trip provided the opportunity to wear them. The old is a brick in our path!
