Interesting social history!!

Over to Worcester ready for the Nurses League Committee meeting tomorrow evening.

D & I attended a lecture at The Infirmary this evening entitled “From Prostitution to the Pill: A 100 years of sexual health and attitudes”. From the 1860's to the 1960's.

I did my general and midwifery training in Worcester in the 1960's and remember the effect of the introduction of the "pill" and legalised abortion in that decade, on the lives of some women.
