Martagon lily in early morning light

Another early morning stroll this morning. So early that the sheep I photographed yesterday were all still lying down. This is the first martagon lily I have seen this year and it looked magnificent as it was catching the early morning light. The day started well and ended well. Piper survived her injections at the vets and M came home from hospital today. Three of us left work and went for a swim in the outdoor pool. Finally we had friends round this evening for an Italian night.............and the food was magnifico! What a great day!
