Catalpa on the Susquehanna
That's a mouthful! We have three of these catalpa (catalpa speciosa) trees, one older and very tall tree, the other two newer, but ours aren't blooming yet. So I captured a shot of one that is blooming along the river this morning. After the blooms are done, long seedpods develop.
Another gorgeous day, less humid. More productivity in the gardens, Mr M worked his fingers to the bone because he's back to work tomorrow. This evening we are heading to the neighboring town to take advantage of their Old Home Days - lots of good junk food, music, and crafts. I LOVE carnivals and fairs and this is the start of the season for me. You'll be hearing about many more fairs as the summer progresses.
