Child in Forest

Today it was my privilege to attend a talk at the High Museum by Barbara Bullock Wilson daughter of the photographer Wynn Bullock. The High is exhibiting a Retrospective of Wynn Bullock's work with over 100 photographs.
Barbara began her talk describing Mr. Bullock's involvement in Edward Steichen's "Family of Man" project and reminded us that Steichen's intention was to prove, visually, the universality of human experience and photography's role in its documentation.
As Blippers we are continuing that connection on a daily basis. I spoke with Barbara afterwards and told her about Blipfoto. She was very excited about the worldwide connectivity and graciously suggested I take a photo of her standing next to "Child in Forest" She was the child.
