My One Tree Trimmed

Today my One Tree, a huge old London Plane behind the house, was cropped a bit. A team of arborists asked my permission for then to climb it and carefully take off the part that reached over to the top of the neighbor's house. I gave permission and asked that they leave me a few logs to use for borders in the garden.

When I returned from my work in the evening, there was a lot more light back there, and some good logs, and this was the view upward from the neighbor's yard, where an ill-placed old maple had been razed to the ground. My tree will be stronger for the trim, I think.
