Hot Cocoa
Hot Cocoa was all the rage among roses when I first planted these, back in 2003. No doubt, the color is unique and appealing. We planted a dozen of them along a west facing wind break….along with ‘Expresso’ gladiolas and “Chocolate Chip’ ajuga. For several years, it was a fabulous non-edible landscape of edibly named plants. I think that ultimately, these roses dwindled in our cool summers and battering winter winds. We still enjoy about half of them. (The glads are thriving.) This Floribunca brick-red rose was an All American Rose Selection Winner.
