Trip to Karachi

Tonight L and I took a walk to Karachi Village. This picture has a number of interesting stories. First of all, the food was delicious! Our friends know that I wouldn't say that unless it was but we were delighted by the fresh spicy dishes we consumed (half of which we took home as there was so much of it). Unfortunately they don't have alcohol and so that little glass bottle had been visited earlier by a bottle of Kingfisher lager. Further in the background, you can just see step ladders - this was because every few minutes water would gush out onto the floor from the ceiling because the A/C was broken. During our meal there was a minor thunderstorm and on our walk home it was actually cooler outside than in the restaurant! But we enjoyed the very reasonably priced meal and had fun in the process!
