Onion Wood Grain Leaves

Bad day today for photography :( Busy day at work and then had a Rugby club parents evening to discuss next season club involvement and pricing. Long and short of it I only managed to bag 2 photos both of which were rubbish!

I took a shot of some long leaves in the garden with the sunlight highlighting the veins in the leaves, however due to myself rushing and my mind being elsewhere, they did not turn out how I wished.

As such, I cropped in slightly and went for a more abstract approach. It ws the best I could do with the tools that i had. In the end I am 'sort of' happy with it as it could look like an onion or wood grain.
