Holiday Traffic

Another holiday (Corpus Christi) and all I did all day is go for a cycle. Not very far, not very long - but the weather was just perfect for that.

Crossing the Autobahn on the way home I noticed the huge traffic volume - not very often you will see an Autobahn swept clean like that!
It didn't last long, but reminded me of the car-free Sundays in 1973 because of the oil crisis.
