Water Tower at Na Zelené Lišce

Today, somehow, I managed to mess things up. I was sure I had a 10.30 lesson, but when I got there I discovered that my student had cancelled. I decided that, in spite of only having my phone camera with me, I would go and see if I could find this water tower. Since I first moved to Prague, I have seen its hat peeping above the roof-line and thought to myself, "must visit that." So today was the day.

This water tower is one of the last to be built in Prague and was built in 1906-07. It stopped functioning in 1975.

That's another tick on my 'must see in Prague' list :)
