My Mini Adventure

Black-eyed Susan vine

Near the beginning of May (a bit late) I planted some seeds to grow Black-eyed Susans (thunbergia alata). I planted about 24 of them and I thought only 2 of them had germinated after 3 weeks (see inserted image) but with some patience on my part I ended up with about 8 little shoots. Still less than half, but better than 2.

Earlier this week I planted them into a pot and I noticed today that they are just starting to climb and hang on to the sticks I stuck in the pot for them. Hope they eventually flower.
