What will happen if we prod this with a stick?

.......Oliver and Isabella pondered for while before prodding at something on the tree with a stick.

We had another picnic in the forest again. Has been soooo hot we set up camp in the shade. Nothing worse than small children who have had too much sun, so I was taking no chances today. Plenty of shade, plenty of water and smothered in suncream. Hats and sunglasses also made an appearance when they were in the sun.

Have had a play with my photo blog to make it a bit more eye catching, and I've added a couple more snaps from today.
