Met Mrs A for coffee and a potter round the shops in the morning and then off up the crags for frittata and beer in the evening with P&K.

They have a special place they like to go and sit, where there are no other people and views over the city - amazing but a little but hairy for those of us who have problems with heights. Saw a kestrel, some jackdaws and a bullfinch (I wouldn't have known any of these - K is the bird expert).

A good first day in the capital.....and my Billy Bragg CDs arrived.
