Suspicion with two pigeons

So that's another Thursday in the can. As weekend eve eves go it was fairly smooth. I have been trying to encourage my assistant, who has now been working with me for two months, to do a little more of his own thinking and properly proof-read his stories before he sends them to me. I'm pleased to report that my efforts seem to be paying off: I was able to sign one of the stories with no changes at all this afternoon…a rare event let me tell you! Am I a hard taskmaster? I try to be sympathetic and treat him in the way I would have wanted to be treated at his age, but I also care about the quality of the material that goes up on my site!
