Baby's first trip to TK Maxx

He's in there I promise!

Cyclops went back to work today so it was MrsCyclops and BabyCyclops's first day at home alone together.

The health visitor came to weigh BabyCyclops. He was very good and didn't wee on her, and he is now 5lb9oz which is a pleasing gain of 9oz in a week. Our parenting passes that test.

Having got some good news about an even newer baby, BabyCyclops and I made quite an ambitious trip on the bus to The Quarry to buy a card. We also went in some of the other shops.

Another milestone was reached as BabyCyclops screamed his head off in Sainsburys, something I'd been dreading. But it was fine, we found a shady corner and had some milk and he quietened down.

Several people cooed over BabyCyclops in the shops, and we ran into our community midwife who was delighted to see BabyCyclops out of hospital.
