I've discovered that going along the edge of the field all the way to the bottom of Liberton Brae is actually a shortcut, or just about the same, or not that much longer and justified by the lovely light when it's not too muddy.

Can you spot the moon?

Allotment for a short bit of strawberry picking, lettuce picking and further wasp-nest fretting. I've decided on the 'spray and run' solution.
