Man at Work

A passing friend commented today on the prettiness of our 'meadow'. I did own up and say that it was a part of the garden awaiting development! The plan is to make it a wildlife haven though and it was full of bees today. I don't know what this purple plant is called but I'm sure we will keep it.

I booked our tickets for the States tonight, woo hoo, and Jen and Pete are coming too! So much to do at the moment and an even busier July is looming all too soon, so more apologies for not getting around as many journals as I would like. I'm not complaining but the lovely evenings don't help as we tarry outside, catching up with neighbours (oh, and the football keeps us out there too!)
