Reds

The sun (despite being intermittent) over the last few days has brought forth a plethora of Strawberries from the garden. To be honest I had no idea that strawberries lived from one year to the next but not only do ours seem to have survived but thrived, there now seem to be twice as many as last year. I wasn't even checking to see if there were flowers, let alone green strawbs, so was trebly surprised when suddenly there were ripe red juicy strawberries ready to go last week.

Unfortunately the slugs had their fill first, so we slug-pelleted the whole area and launched as many as I could to clear the patch. This next lot was ours.
