Hanover Garden Club Picnic

We had our annual picnic at the beautiful home and gardens of a club member today. Her husband works endlessly on their gorgeous plot of land, complete with a replica of a 1600 style house pool house (with billiard table), conifer areas and every hosta variety available. We had a lovely assortment of cool drinks , with our bagged lunches. R made something she said is more winter fare, Sticky Toffee Pudding with heavy cream. They travel often to the UK and she used Delia Smith's recipe. It was divine!!

A school pal from my early teens through high school used to live at the same house(before additions and the gardens) so i love going there and thinking about the fun I had there.

For the Record,
This day came in gloomy, but the sun burst through for a beautiful afternoon.
