Newly Arrived Neighbour

Looked out this morning and was surprised too see a foal. The mare stayed close to her home end of the field most of the day, too far even for my long lens.
However as the youngster grew more adventurous she allowed him to go further and this evening they were behind the house.
Not the sharpest shot of the speeding foal, but I didn't want to disturb the proud mother by going into the field.
Maybe when I get back next week.
