Much ado about nothing

My Christmas present from N two years ago was an IOU for a trip to the globe theatre in London, however what with pregnancy and then parenthood we never got round to actually booking anything.

Last week I spotted an ad in the local paper for the globe theatre on tour- performing 'much ado about nothing' at Osborne house! Perfect. N booked us matinee tickets and today, the hottest day of the year so far, we enjoyed a bit of culture in the sunshine. A fantastic performance, a lovely setting and a super experience all round!

(I should add that just to complete the 'London' experience the cost of one beer, a programme, two ice creams and a pack of nuts was £14.00. Ouch!!!)
