Ferry High and Dry

Another dark windy day. I had a massage appointment at 6:30 am for my sprained knee (playing pickleball), and went looking for photos on the way home. This is the M/V Kennicott, one of the Alaska State ferries -- part of the Alaska Marine Highway System, -- in dry dock at the Fairhaven Shipyard.

I felt sorry for the two workers perched on a small platform near the top of the funnel on the left side in the photo. Glad I didn't have to be up there in that wind!
