There was really only one option for my EIFF portrait today - I was hosting a Q&A after the UK premiere of Finding Vivian Maier with one of the directors, Charles Siskel (the other director being John Maloof, who discovered Maier's work). A great screening and a lovely man. I wished I'd had a bit more time to take his picture, I'd have gone for a Maier-style from-the-hip shot, but I was dashing off to introduce another film.
