When The Moon Turns Blue

Once in a while, maybe every three years, when weather conditions are just so, then there happens meteorological perfect storm where the still skies, the sunset timing and air temperatures combine to fill the sky with a criss-cross pattern of pink vapour trails. This photo does little to capture the overall effect which extends around and above in a full 360 and right overhead.
