Fern

I was pottering about the garden when I realised that as we would be at a show over the weekend I had better water everything in the containers.

We have a "hanging" basket which sits on top of the trunk of a tree which we had to take out. I know there is at least one person (you know who you are) who follows my journal but doesn't comment much who will tell me it can't be a hanging basket as it doesn't hang! We left about 6 feet of trunk to give leverage if ever we wanted to remove the root ball, in the mean time the variegated Ivy is climbing all over it.

To water this basket I need to stand on one of the garden chairs to be high enough to comfortably pour the water into the basket not run it down my arm. While up there I looked down straight into this view so that is today's blip.

I will probably not be posting blips until Monday as we are at the Hutton in the Forest Horse Trials. It is only a few miles from home but we stay with the stand after setting up and will only pop home for short visits to the cat and for CC to check on her Mum FredaH.
