Rosehaugh, Arkendeith Field

Bud loves this field. The grass has grown so high that Poppy has completely disappeared amongst it. The pair of them just run and run through the grass, up and down the hill. Great fun.

We have just booked them in for their holidays. It's not until October but this doggy holiday care is so popular you have to book well in advance. We have never left them before so wanted to visit with them before we booked our flights. It will just be for 4nights but already I am really worried.

We are flying down to stay with my son and his family, usually we go separately so that the dogs are able to remain at home. But this time we are both going and Pops and Bud are being looked after by a couple who take dogs into their own home. They have a 2 of their own dogs and a fair bit of land. Strangely it was Poppy who was the most apprehensive, she stayed by my side whereas Bud disappeared to take charge of all the fluffy dog toys that were lying around.

I know that I will worry.

I had a smudge on the lens, so annoying. I might go back later and take the photo again.
