The new King and Queen of Spain pictured on the front page of the leading Catalonian daily newspaper. Felipe VI was proclaimed yesterday in the Congress, thus avoiding the pomp and unseemly public expense of a coronation. Too bad for coronation lovers but good for the public purses, although those tend to get emptied into politicians' pockets, so maybe some visible spending would have been better after all!
