The Bridge of Sighs, Oxford

Hertford Bridge, known as the Bridge of Sighs, is a skywalk joining two parts of Hertford College over New College Lane in the city of Oxford.

I was in Oxford today seeing Surgeon Tom Ball who wanted me to have an op on both ankles. On this occasion I turned him down. Told him that I would live with it now. The pain is controllable mostly & what isn't I'm gonna put up with. Told him that if I changed my mind when I was 60 then I would look him up....but I think if can put up with it til I'm 60, then I can put up with it forever.

After we left I diverted into the city for a quick look around. As usual it was crawling with students on cycles & tourists. Managed to stop here for 5 minutes for a few pictures.

Left the city & then we called & did shopping on way home.

Got in about 2 and N was here looking for her telly....which was upstairs.
