Distant spire

I have spent the day telling myself it was only a football match but the disappointment is still palpable. I did a few jobs in the morning and cut a lot of rhubarb. Today was my day off so I went off on a photographic bike ride in the afternoon. The fens are not at their most photogenic at the moment, the flowers having gone and most fields either with seedlings, potatoes or beet. I did like this distant spire across the barley though. Maybe I will start a series of distant spires...
