Pu'uhonua o Honaunau

place of refuse in ancient times. it is now a u.s. park with hawaiian huts, boats, wooden carvings. best of all, the turtles love to be here. the hawaiian man, dressed in the traditional way, in the photo is making sure the tourists don't come too near the turtles.
