In the shade

I’ve been at work with Ann all day today.

A day at the office is very tiring for a gorgeous little collie like me. I’ve had to stay alert all day and haven’t had any sleep time. As soon as we got home Ann gave me my dinner but I went straight out to a shady part of the sun terrace for a little snooze. Ann’s heading out to a sunny part of the sun terrace for a glass of wine??!!

The first thing Ann did when she got home was check if our phone line was working. It’s not and the ‘BT tracker information’ states that the problem should have been fixed by 5pm yesterday. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..................... Ann has gone into angry mode. But at least our internet appears to be working again. Yay!

I don’t really suppose any of you lovely Blippers are interested in our phone line but sometimes Ann likes to RANT....................... so rant she is going to do.......................

We don’t mind if you stop reading now – this really isn’t very interesting...........

We don’t actually know when our phone line died but Ann reported the fault to BT on Sunday morning. She spoke to someone in a call centre in India (??) who ran a test on our line, said yes, there was a problem and it would be rectified by the end of the day on Thurs. Ann wasn’t happy that it was going to take so long, especially as ‘call centre person’ said our broadband would probably start to be affected. She gave ‘call centre person’ her mobile phone number so that she could be updated via texts as to how things were progressing.

She’s just gone onto the ‘BT track your fault’ page and our ‘fault’ is still showing as ‘open’ with a rectify date of 17.00hrs Thurs 19 June????? What is the point of being able to track a fault if the tracking isn’t kept up to date?????

......................And what is even worse..................... next to all the un-updated information is a note that says BT will keep us informed via phone – and it lists our landline number???????????????????????????????? Duh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Needless to say Ann has now fired off a very polite, but assertive, email asking what is going on?

And if this long rant doesn’t post because we lose internet connection, Ann will be doing even more ranting tomorrow!!!!!

................And now she’s heading outside with a glass of wine. Soon she will be happy again. Yay!
