Fragrant orchid
The wonderful limestone moors at Great Asby Scar are looking great at the moment.
The area enclosed by the National Nature Reserve has been excluded from grazing for 15 years, and the vegetation is responding spectacularly.
There are now thick banks of heather where birds can nest, orchids and wild thyme, wheatears and bumblebees.
Look over the wall and there is little other than sheep grazed grassland.
It is like walking through old England.
