The Outdoor

When we were young Dad would often nip out to the off licence for beer, pop and chocolate and then we would sit infront of the telly and watch Saturday night tv - the Two Ronnies/ Starsky & Hutch etc.

Dad always called it the Outdoor, a term from when he was young, which comes from pubs having a door at the side where you could get take outs. Noticed this old sign in a back street pub - the Outdoor ! Brought back some memories .
