The Church in the Hole

Flew into Montpelier yesterday to stay with my elder daughter Shirley for the weekend This morning we went to the Eglise du Trou and walked along and down a steep and stoney path into the gorge (with the help of a cane and a hand) To my surprise this fifth century church building emerged. No longer used but kept maintained.
